Their very own range of inflatable tents, Vango Airbeam is a collection of blow up tents that are as sturdy, reliable and weatherproof as traditional tents but with the addition of a quicker and easier pitching method. There is some considerable tech at play here, beyond the materials and design. Even the valves for the beams have evolved - both in their efficiency and positioning on the beams. In its 50th year of making tents, it's interesting to see how technology continues to impact Vango's evolving designs. Iterating on the design and acting on feedback brings us to the large AirBeam tents we have today. By 2010 the first AirBeam tent was launched. It's an idea that draws strange looks from other campers and festival goers, but has been in development since 1998.
